This historic Royal Park spans 2,500 acres of diverse landscape including ancient woodlands, grasslands, and gardens that welcome pets and their owners year-round. The park features designated walking trails, open spaces for exercise, and specific areas where dogs must remain on leads to protect wildlife habitats, particularly around skylark nesting zones. Pet owners can access the grounds through pedestrian gates available 24/7, while vehicle access operates from 7am to 6:15pm daily. The expansive grounds include the seven-mile Tamsin Trail around the perimeter, suitable for dog walking and jogging, along with numerous internal paths through varied terrain. Wildlife viewing opportunities abound with resident deer herds, making leash control essential in certain areas for both pet and wildlife safety.
