Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 12, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Furvisor ("we", "our", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit furvisor.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
You can change your choice any time: .
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, pixels, and SDKs — together we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They include authentication tokens, session security, CSRF protection, load balancing, and remembering that you have set your cookie preferences.
- furvisor.consent.v1 — stores your cookie preferences (1 year).
- Authentication tokens — keep you signed in (session / 7 days for refresh).
- Stripe — fraud prevention on checkout pages (set by Stripe.js when you visit a payment page).
Analytics (optional)
Help us understand how visitors use Furvisor so we can improve search, listings, and performance. These cookies are only set after you opt in.
- Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_ga_*) — pseudonymous usage statistics. IP anonymization enabled. Up to 2 years.
Marketing (optional)
Used to measure ad effectiveness and to personalize promotions. No personalized ads are shown today, but if we enable advertising in the future these cookies will be controlled by this category.
3. Third-party services
Some pages load third-party services that may set their own cookies. We only load non-essential third parties after you give consent for the matching category.
- Mapbox — interactive maps. Sets cookies for telemetry when maps are displayed.
- Stripe — payment processing and fraud detection on checkout/billing pages.
- SendGrid — transactional email delivery (server-side; no cookies on your browser).
- Google Analytics — analytics (only after analytics consent).
- Vercel — hosting and performance metrics for the frontend.
4. Managing your choices
You can change your cookie choices at any time:
- Open the dialog from the footer of any page.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
- For Google Analytics specifically, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent core features (such as sign-in) from working.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information for residents of jurisdictions where that right applies (e.g. California). Browser "Do Not Track" signals have no agreed standard meaning and are not specifically actioned beyond our normal consent flow.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page and, where required by law, we will ask you to re-consent.
7. Contact
