About
LA Animal Rescue is a small, volunteer- and foster-based rescue in Chatsworth that takes in homeless and abandoned animals regardless of breed, age, health or size. Animals are fully vetted, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped before adoption, which involves an application, a home check, a contract and a fee of $400 to $600 for dogs, depending on breed and age, or $175 for cats. Adoptions are limited to Los Angeles and Ventura counties, and animal sponsorship is available.
