Jim Canino Dog Training & Boarding Kennel is on Borden Avenue in Sylmar, at the north end of the San Fernando Valley, with lawn space, trees and areas for dogs to exercise. Obedience training is tailored to each dog and handled by trainers Jim and Leah Canino without assistant trainers, and boarding and daycare are also offered. An 8-week obedience class meets on Saturday mornings at 10 am, with enrollment by phone.
