The Snake School for Dogs

About

Rattlesnake avoidance training for dogs, held at a 20-acre ranch in Bouquet Canyon, Santa Clarita. The course has 12 stations using live, caged rattlesnakes and is run one-on-one by a trainer and snake handlers. Dogs learn to recognize a rattlesnake by scent, sight and sound, to treat it as a danger and to move away from it. Sessions last under an hour with the owner present and are by appointment only, booked online. Sessions at the owner's location are also offered.
