Coney Island's amusement park throws a Halloween costume contest for dogs on the boardwalk end of Surf Avenue. Bring your pup in costume for a free evening of judging, prizes and a walk-through of NYC's largest amusement park. Friday 23 October, 6pm to 8pm; registration is free via Eventbrite.
