Blessing of the Animals at the Alice Austen House
About This Event
A joyful St. Francis-tide gathering on the Alice Austen House lawn celebrating furry, feathered and scaled family members. The service is led by Mo. Kirstin Swandon and Fr. Fred Schraplau with congregations from St. John's, St. Paul's and Christ Church. All are welcome — bring your pet, or a photograph of them, to receive a blessing. Pets must be secured with a leash, harness, cage, carrier or bowl.
