This expansive oceanfront destination operates as one of five village-managed coastal areas in East Hampton, featuring pristine sandy shores without rocks or pebbles. The facility provides comprehensive beach services including lifeguard supervision from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM during the Memorial Day through Labor Day season, with professional staff monitoring swimming conditions through a color-coded flag system. Visitors can access various amenities and services, with beach management offices located directly on-site at 104 Ocean Avenue. Pet owners should note that dogs and other animals face seasonal restrictions, with access prohibited between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM daily from May 15th through September 15th. During permitted hours within this restricted season, dogs must remain on leash when within 300 feet of any road access point. Pet waste cleanup bags are provided at beach entrances, and owners remain responsible for waste removal and maintaining control of their animals, with active patrol enforcement of all regulations throughout the area.
