The venue accommodates over 1,000 bird cages across multiple sections, with a dedicated field containing 426 poles where zebra doves are hoisted up to 20 feet for daily training sessions starting at 6am. Different areas of the facility house various bird species including longtail shama, red whiskered bulbul, and oriental white-eye, with competitions held regularly for four specific species. Bird owners travel from across Singapore to participate in training sessions and competitions that focus on singing ability, tonal quality, and other performance criteria. The facility includes covered shelters for weather protection, designated display areas for ornamental birds kept for their beauty, and plans for a parrot exhibition section. Beyond competitions, the venue serves as a social hub where bird hobbyists can connect with fellow enthusiasts and showcase their prized birds.
