In the default view, businesses with an active Furvisor subscription are shown first, and listings are otherwise ordered by their average star rating from published pet-owner reviews. Where enough places have been reviewed, a city's dedicated Top 10 ranking involves no paid placement at all — it weights average rating most heavily, factors in how many reviews each place has earned, and only includes places with at least three published reviews.
